Storefront API: How to create a custom app and pull the Storefront API token from it

In order to pull the token ourselves, we’re going to need the following permissions:

To pull it yourself, please refer to the guide below.

Open your Shopify store admin dashboard.

Go through the steps described below:

  • Open the ‘Apps’ section of the Shopify admin;
  • Click ‘Develop apps’.

2.

  • Click ‘Create an app’;
  • Enter ‘Convermax Site Search’ as ‘App name’;
  • Select “dev@convermax” or “team@convermax” as ‘App developer’. It does not really matter what is in that field, so feel free to choose any selectable option.
  • Click ‘Create app’.

  1. Now that the app is created, get the Storefront token:

Please, send us the token value as a text.

Please, do not uninstall the created app.
