How to add Convermax widgets to your online store step-by-step guide
Convermax widgets are delivered by the app’s theme app extension: one app embed that loads Convermax on every page, and app blocks you place in theme templates. No theme code changes are needed. For older or heavily customized themes, see Manual Integration Code Editing.
Setup order
Section titled “Setup order”- Turn on the app embed and select a theme. Follow Choose a theme to integrate. With Theme set to None, Convermax does not load and the widgets stay empty. The embed also powers search and autocomplete.
- Add app blocks to each template in the theme editor (Online Store → Themes → Customize):
- Home page or Header group: Year Make Model Tabs, with optional wheel and tire tabs
- Header group: My Garage
- Collections list: Collection List
- Collection: Product Grid with Filters, Collection Header, Carousel & Grid, Vehicle Years List
- Product: Verify Fitment, Fitment Table, Related Products, Bought Together
- Add the checkout block. Add Customer vehicle to the Thank you and Order status pages (and Checkout on Shopify Plus).
What each block needs to show content
Section titled “What each block needs to show content”Convermax indexes your catalog right after installation. Indexing status is on the Convermax app → Home → Search index card.

Fitment data comes from fitment data integrations, custom fitment sources, or the Fitment Editor.
The categories in Collection List and Carousel & Grid default to your store’s collections. A navigation menu hierarchy is optional; see How to create a Category Tree.
