How to add Convermax widgets to your online store

Our app makes an index of products at your store. Then it adds extra information like fitment data, external product attributes from integration, and custom sources (e.g., wheel/tire attributes, reviews, etc) to the index.

Therefore our search engine elements have to be rendered via app blocks. Those blocks sometimes replace the native Shopify ones (e.g., collection grid, collections list, related items). During the integration process, our script is added to the store, and blocks are connected with the search index. You can add those blocks in the next steps of app configuration.

Why is it important? First, it makes our widgets work where you want since they don’t rely on the theme’s liquid objects. Secondly, it has to be kept in mind when making changes to products - our widgets will reflect the changes automatically after some time or if you force re-index.

The instructions below will help you get all the widgets up and running. If you have any questions, see the FAQ or contact us.

Site-wide integration steps

The first step of self-served setup is to Choose a theme to integrate

The second step is to add global Convermax widgets:

After these steps, the bare minimum is done so we can move to integration into pages.
