Create Landing Pages via Metafields

Landing Pages Features:

• Opens instead of the default product listing when the right vehicle is selected.
• Automatically populated with products that have fitment data for the vehicle.
• Dropdowns are preselected with the values you’ve added to the metafield.

To create and filter landing pages, you can use the following metafields:

• Vehicle landing page convermax.vehicle: Allows you to create customized pages for specific vehicles.
• Linked collection convermax.linked_collection: Enables filtering of products on a vehicle landing page by collection.

Create Landing Pages

You can create customized landing pages for specific vehicles using the convermax.vehicle metafield.

1. In your Shopify admin panel, go to Collections.
2. Create a new collection.
3. Add the desired vehicle to the title, e.g., 2014-2016 Ford F-150.
4. Select the Collection type Manual.

5. Scroll down to the Metafields section.
6. Click on the Vehicle landing page metafield.
7. Add fitment data using the format: Years|Make|Model|Submodel.
8. Click Save.

Edit fitment data:

To create a landing page, use the following formats:

1. Submodel by years: Years|Make|Model|Submodel format, e.g., 2014-2016|Ford|F-150|Lariat.
2. Model by years: Years|Make|Model format, e.g., 2014-2016|Ford|F-150.
3. Model: Make|Model format, e.g., Ford|F-150.
4. Make: Make format, e.g., Ford.

Formats for Years:

1. Single year: 2017.
2. Range: 2017-2020.
3. Multiple years: 2017,2019,2020.
4. Up to the next year: 2017+ (equivalent to 2017-2025).

Multiple Entries: You can add multiple fitments.

Apply changes

An index update is required to apply changes.

The index update starts automatically every 12 hours, but you can also run it manually using the Convermax Shopify app:

1. Open the Home tab.
2. Click the Force re-index button.

Filter Landing Page

You can filter products on a vehicle landing page by existing collection using the convermax.linked_collection metafield.

1. In your Shopify admin panel, go to Collections.
2. Select the desired collection.
3. Scroll down to the Metafields section.
4. Click on the Linked collection metafield.
5. Link the collection to the Landing Page to display on the Landing Page only products from this collection.
6. Click Save.
