Export and Import Vehicle Data

Overview

• Export — download your vehicle list as a CSV file.
• Import — upload a CSV file to add or update vehicles in bulk.

Both are available on the Vehicles page in the Convermax app.

Export

Click Export to download your vehicle list. In the export dialog you can select which fields to include in the file. The exported file includes an Id column only when all fields are exported.

Import

A sample .csv file is available for download.

File format

Supported formats: .csv, .xls, .xlsx.

Each row represents one vehicle.

Typically the required columns are Year, Make, Model. Additional columns such as Submodel, Engine, Bed, Body, Drive, etc. may also be supported depending on your fitment configuration.

The Id column (optional)

Identifies an existing vehicle to update. Vehicle IDs can be obtained by exporting the vehicle list.

Use cases

Adding new vehicles

Prepare a file with the required vehicle columns (Year, Make, Model, and any additional fields your configuration requires) and import it. Leave the Id column out — each row will create a new vehicle.

Editing existing vehicles

1. Export the vehicle list with all fields.
2. Edit the rows you want to change.
3. Import the file back.

You can remove rows you don’t need to change — only the vehicles present in the file will be updated.

Note

You can mix new and existing vehicles in the same file. Rows with an Id update existing vehicles, rows without an Id create new ones.
