Convermax for Shopify
Everything needed to run Convermax on a Shopify store, in the order you will need it.
Install the app
Section titled “Install the app”Go to Year Make Model Fitment Search in the Shopify App Store and click Install.
The app asks for access to:
- Collections, products, and blog posts — to index your store’s content
- Script tags and themes — to implement the search interface
Connect fitment data
Section titled “Connect fitment data”Start with how the YMM (fitment) search works for the general concept, then connect the sources that provide fitment information for your products:
- Fitment data integrations — PDM, SEMA Data, Turn 14, ASAP, and more
- Custom fitment data sources and formats — tags, metafields, and spreadsheets
- Wheels and tires data integrations
Once data is connected, how products map to fitment data explains what gets matched, and fitment editor commands cover bulk edits from the dashboard.
Add widgets to your theme
Section titled “Add widgets to your theme”Widgets bring search, the Year/Make/Model bar, My Garage, and fitment features to your storefront.
Online Store 2.0 themes — use the theme editor
Section titled “Online Store 2.0 themes — use the theme editor”Follow how to add Convermax widgets to your online store.
The app includes optimized presets for popular themes, each with pre-configured search settings, theme-specific widget styling, and layout adjustments.
Presets are available for Athens, Caros, Chromium, Dawn, Ella, Empire, Enterprise, Impact, Minion, Pursuit, Spark, and Warehouse.
